Stirring, mixing, and beating are usual tasks for everyday bakers, but commonly used electric and stand mixers are expensive and troublesome. At Prepara, we were tasked to create the first effective battery operated handheld mixer; and open up the availability of a new type of tool.
My early involvement from sourcing varying motors and gearboxes continued all the way through to the execution of the final form. The development of the Batter Beater heavily relied on in-house prototyping to find the proper balance of power and efficiency in the combination of the motor and beater head shape.
